Applications
Chargers. Verify charger output behaviour under a programmable, repeatable load before chargers are shipped or paired with devices.
Switching power supplies. Check the output voltage and current behaviour of switching power supplies and adapters on the bench — remote sense compensation keeps the controlled voltage at the device under test, not at the load terminals.
Linear power supplies. Load testing of linear supplies and bench power sources during design verification and production checks.
Batteries & R&D testing. The built-in battery test function discharges batteries in CC or CR mode and measures discharge capacity up to 9,999 Ah; controlled loads can also be applied to prototypes in R&D and laboratory test environments.
Accessories
- Standard: Power cord × 1, Power fuse × 2, User manual × 1
- Optional: PC software disc, USB communication cable, RS-232 / RS-485 communication cable

⭳ Datasheet — ET54A+ Series (ET5410A+ / ET5420A+ / ET5411A+ / ET5409A+ / ET5408A+) PDFFrequently asked questions
What is the ET5410A+ DC electronic load used for?
Testing chargers, switching power supplies, linear power supplies and batteries — including battery discharge tests — and R&D test work in the lab and workshop.
What are the differences between the five ET54A+ models?
The ET5410A+ is a single-channel 400 W load rated 0–150 V / 0–40 A. The ET5420A+ is the dual-channel version, 400 W total (200 W × 2), rated 0–150 V / 0–20 A × 2. The ET5411A+ keeps 400 W in a single channel but raises the input range to 0–500 V at 0–15 A. The ET5409A+ is a 150 W single-channel model rated 0–500 V / 0–15 A, and the ET5408A+ is a 150 W single-channel model rated 0–150 V / 0–30 A. All five models share the CV, CC, CR and CP operating modes, the battery test function, a 2.8-inch TFT display (320 × 240) and remote sense compensation.
Does the ET5410A+ have a battery test function?
Yes. The battery test function discharges the battery under test in CC or CR mode and measures discharge capacity up to 9,999 Ah.
Does the ET5410A+ support remote sense?
Yes. Remote sense compensation is provided in hardware and software, eliminating the voltage drop across the test leads so the voltage at the device under test is what is measured and controlled.
Which interfaces does the ET5410A+ have?
USB is built in as standard; RS-232 / RS-485 interfaces are optional. A DB9 connector provides an external trigger input. The front panel uses a 2.8-inch TFT LCD (320 × 240) with a Chinese / English interface and a key lock.
